ABOUT US
GLENDALE FAMILY FARMS • GLENDALE STABLES
The history runs deep with the Glenn Family and Glendale Family Farms. Originally settled in 1856 by the great grandparents of the late Jack Glenn, Glendale Family Farms has long been associated with the Saddlebred industry.
Jack's uncle, R.P. Glenn, who trained at the neighboring Glenn Acres, showed numerous talented and successful Glendale-bred saddle horses, such as CH Princess Julia, who was later sold and went on to win the Ladies Five-Gaited Stake at Louisville in 1996.
Continuing on with the Saddlebred tradition, Glendale Stables was established in 1991 and sits on the Glendale Family Farms acreage run by Jack's wife, Betty, and their two sons, Frank and John.
Glendale Family Farms welcomed Kent and Stacey Swalla to head up Glendale Stables LLC in late 2005. Currently running as both a thriving farming business and successful Saddlebred stable, Glendale continues to stand for fun and family!
